6th Year

In year 6 we are about to complete the third unit of study (unit 2), so we are doing a bit of a recap in preparation for the test on the 12^th of December. In class we make sure that everyone is aware of the vocabulary and grammatical structures that are being learnt, and we insist on the need for the students to become less and less dependent on adults to study and to get by in life. Students have to pay attention in class and develop their ability to learn autonomously, with the teacher guiding them and supporting them in this process. We have to work hard, but we also have fun along the way. Like with the Christmas Carol. This year we’ve transformed a popular song into a carol and most of us already know the lyrics very well. A 6è estem a punt de completar la tercera unitat d’estudi (unitat 2), així que estem repassant en preparació per a l’examen del dia 12 de desembre. A la classe ens assegurem que tothom sigui conscient del vocabulari i les estructures gramaticals que estem aprenent, i insistim en la necessitat que els estudiants siguin cada cop menys dependents dels adults a l’hora d’estudiar i de sortir-se’n a la vida. Els estudiants han d’estar atents a classe i desenvolupar la seva habilitat per aprendre de forma autònoma, amb la guia i el suport del mestre durant aquest procés. Hem de treballar dur, però també podem divertir-nos a la vegada. Com amb la nadala. Aquest any hem transformat una cançó en nadala i la majoria de nosaltres ens sabem molt bé la lletra.
