1st Year

Hello again!
In the last two weeks, we’ve been working on some musical instruments, the families they belong to and their location in an orchestra. Now we know that all the instruments are divided into three main groups (wind, string and percussion) so that everybody knows where to sit depending on the instrument they play.
Next week we’ll be looking at a story titled “Albertina”, which is about a girl who plays the violin poorly but, after lots of practice, succeeds in playing beautifully. That teaches us that almost everything can be achieved with effort.
It would be great if we found time to listen to the story at home several times, since we’ll be acting it out in class and we’d like to impress our teacher with our performances.
