4th Year

Next Wednesday, June 8th we’ll take our last exam.
What to study for the test
-          How to know whether a given animal is a vertebrate or an invertebrate
-          The main characteristics of mammals, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and insects (e.g. mammals don’t lay eggs whereas fish lay eggs and breathe with gills)
-          Some examples of these 6 animal families
-          The main body parts of animals: fur, wings, beak, scales, feathers, tail…
-          The names of the 8 planets and their position in the solar system
-          How to compare the planets using comparative and superlative adjectives (e.g. “Mars is smaller than the Earth”, “Mercury is nearer to the Sun than Venus”,  “Jupiter is the biggest planet”, “Neptune is the furthest planet from the sun”)
All the activities in Units 6 and 7 on the Multi-ROM can help us study for the exam.
Good luck!

El proper dimecres 8 de juny farem el nostre darrer examen de llengua anglesa.
Què cal estudiar per a l’examen
-          Com saber si un determinat animal és vertebrat o invertebrat
-          Les principals característiques dels mamífers, peixos, amfibis, rèptils, ocells i insectes (e.g. “mammals don’t lay eggs whereas fish lay eggs and breathe with gills”)
-          Alguns exemples d’aquestes 6 famílies d’animals
-          Les principals parts del cos dels animals: “fur”, “wings”, “beak”, “scales”, “feathers”, “tail”…
-          Els noms dels 8 planetes i la seva posició al sistema solar
-          Com comparar els planetes utilitzant adjectius comparatius i superlatius (e.g. “Mars is smaller than the Earth”, “Mercury is nearer to the Sun than Venus”,  “Jupiter is the biggest planet”, “Neptune is the furthest planet from the sun”)
Totes les activitats de les unitats 6 i 7 del Multi-ROM poden ajudar-nos a estudiar per a l’examen.
Bona sort!
